DESCRIPTION OF CHILDREN'S CLASSES
Our goal is to develop the enormous linguistic potential of children through a variety of activities. Children listen to authentic language, color pictures, manipulate objects, mime and act out songs and skits, play language games, make and identify flash cards, and, for older children, learn to read and write. Emphasis is on comprehension and communication.
CLASSES
Small classes are taught in French by native and near-native speakers of French who enjoy being with children and provide a fun, warm and supporting environment. They meet for an hour per week. Classes are formed according to children’s ages and level in French. Children range from 7 to 17 years of age. A minimum of four students is required to constitute a class. Should this minimum not be reached at the first class meeting, we reserve the right to cancel the class.
